Creative Workshops - Now Booking
A Bunch Of Wild - the list.
Hello my fellow garden lovers, I will be dropping into your inbox with some gorgeous blooms from Wrest Park and my garden news later in the week, but today I wanted to share my workshop list that I’ve just released over on A Bunch Of Wilds website. I’ll pop the link at the bottom. All workshops take place in my studio above my new shop in Hitchin and they are all on a Sunday morning, making it a perfect little trip for those that live further afield. Hitchin is a lovely old market town with lots to do, great places to eat and nice places to stay so why not book a Saturday night trip and turn it into something extra special.
The studio seats just four so all workshops feel extra cosy and comfortable. Its light and airy and refreshments are provided. Please note that access is up a very old winding staircase with a shallow ceiling, the building was built sometime in the 1500’s so it has its quirks.
Workshops are all floral based as you might expect:
Garden Bouquet - Come and join me to create something lovely with seasonal flowers from my garden. We’ll be making a hand tied arrangement. Running on two dates so far this year- the 14th of June and the 6th of September. June will be full of early summer cottage garden flowers and the September one will be Dahlias.
Pressed Flower Pottery Plates - We’ll be handbuilding small plates from stoneware clay and pressing flowers into them so when fired it creates a lovely keepsake of fleeting beauty. Two dates to choose from- the 5th July & 27th September.
Scrapbook Flowers - I’m really excited about this one! We’ll be using little scrapbooks to create something lovely using pressed flowers, material and watercolours. This promises to be a relaxing morning. 2nd August.
Terrarium Planter - On the 16th of August come and join me in making a plant terrarium. I’ll also have some little trinkets to add to your display.
Dried Wreath - Make an everlasting wreath with our garden grown and dried flowers on the 4th of October.
*All workshops include refreshments.
