Having a defined style in anything will get you noticed by the right people, your kind of people.

It’s something I always tell my floristry students. Know what you love and don’t deviate from it! It sounds simple enough but the amount of times I hear how they feel they should accommodate all tastes and then end up disheartened when creating another arrangement they are not proud of and do not like. I learned years ago that by just creating work you love, things you would buy for yourself, colours and textures that make your heart sing, then that is all that is needed to attract customers that you will love making things for.
