Shop update- ceramics, wreaths & dried flowers
Small collection of ceramics and handmade gifts.
Hello my dear friends,
I’ve been enjoying summer although it seems to be flying by now. My lovely friend gifted me some beautiful homemade tea a few weeks back with a tea strainer and the words of ‘You need to make tea strainers!’ So I have 😁
I’ve created just a few pieces as i’ve been having summer off to do some long overdue home improvements, not forgetting the works on the cutting garden and greenhouse.
I have just two tea strainers available, each one handmade by me and based on an original vintage design. They’re wavy like my teacups and nostalgic. I hope you like them!
I’ve also made a few little heart trinket/ring dishes that also work well to sit the strainers on, although I did original think of them as ring dishes.
Continuing on my black florals theme is one soap dish that’s designed to sit on the edge of the bath or sink, I’ve only made this one!
As you know- flowers and my garden are my inspiration for all my work and I’ve been working on something new.
This little wreath is made up of handmade porcelain flowers and wrapped wire, finished with a silk ribbon, I’m a little bit in love with it.
I’ve also been drying lots of flowers in my studio and put together the first bouquet of the season, I’ve added it to my website along with some dried wreaths too.
I’ll pop the link at the bottom and wish you a lovely bank holiday. I’m off to the New Forest this weekend and I’ll be visiting The Dorset Brocante as a guest so I can finally shop from all my lovely friends. It will be nice to be at one where I’m not exhibiting, although I will be back for the Christmas one!
