Workshops and studio space update
Hitchin shop
Hello my fellow garden lovers, a little update for everyone that been asking about workshops this year. I am currently working on furnishing the studio for such projects such as pottery and art classes, flower workshops and photography, and photography styling. The studio is up a tight winding staircase, it’s beautiful but a devil to find furniture to fit! I’ve decided on A-frames that I can put slats of wood onto and I’m on the hunt for nice folding chairs. As soon as I’ve acquired these I will be starting! Workshops will be published on here and on my website, and will be for four people maximum. You can book onto a workshop when it becomes available or alternatively you can book your own at a time to suit you, and have it tailored especially for you and your group. I also offer 1-to-1 & 1-to-2 classes for when you want something a little more in depth like photography. Pics shown are from yesterday when the light was beautiful just slanting in through the sash window.
I’m aiming to have it up and running in a few weeks time. In the meantime- feel free to come in and chat to me about them, ask questions or simply find out a bit more.
An example of workshops I offer:
Botanical pressed plates (garden flowers pressed into stoneware clay)
Hand pinched stoneware dish with handmade clay flowers
Wreaths (dried, fresh and wild)
Floral styling- making an arrangement and taking photos.
Photography tips and Lightroom mobile.
Phone photography.
Oil and cold wax painting.
If booking a party then feel free to bring a bottle wine with you, I have glasses.
If you have recently signed up for workshops via my shop- you may be interested to know that these newsletters come weekly and I’m often sharing gardening news and advice as well as creative musings and updates.
Speak soon my dear friends.
