A lovely read ❤️I find your articles inspiring. I think that your advice is great. I started this year challenging myself to photograph something beautiful in nature every day - and it quickly became my Substack (actually mostly without the photos!!)
And as for my garden... I'm struggling to choose the next project, I have so many ideas! I'm thinking a new perennial nectar border, and maybe a small wildlife pond. I look forward to seeing how your garden progresses.
Oh a perennial nectar border and wildlife pond sound perfect and the two go together beautifully. You will have lots of happy insects and creatures visiting. Which will you start first do you think?
As of this morning - I've decided it's the wildlife pond. I have an overgrown area with brambles and nettles to tackle first, so it's going to be challenging but worth it I'm sure. Meanwhile I'm going to use a veg bed I planned for a cut flower patch and fill it with wildflowers - until I'm ready to do something more formal. I'm excited to get going now!!

It’s a good time to tackle overgrown areas now before they really get going again. I love the plan of sowing wildflowers in the veg bed 🌸
